Lyft driver requirements
As with any job, you have to meet the requirements to qualify for the position. To qualify for the Lyft driver, you must be at least 21 or older and hold a valid driver's license issued by the state in which you plan to drive.
If you are older than 23, you must be licensed in the US for at least one year. If you are under the age of 23, you must have a license in the US for at least three years.
You must have access to a vehicle that meets the standards of this Lyft. You also need to be listed on a car insurance policy that is valid and passes the examination history performed through DMV driving records.
Drivers who have major traffic violations, such as DUI or reckless driving, are not qualified to work for Lyft
